Numo Jaeger - Clay Bakers and Chicken Bricks

Numo Jaeger - Clay Bakers and Chicken Bricks

$0.00

This is a hands-on workshop for both hand-builders and wheel-throwers. Create an earthenware, clay baking vessel with or without sculptural additions. Learn how to work with templates, mold forms and closed wheel-thrown forms. This type of baker makes delicious meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian dishes with little or no issues with burning. Foods cooked in this type of baker remain perfectly moist and retain more vitamins and minerals. Hand-building techniques including pinch, coil and slab methods will be covered. Basic ceramics tools required. During the class we will taste dishes prepared in bakers like the ones we are making.
