Empowering Artists
The positive impact on artists in our new space will be significant and will nurture artistic development and innovation. With expanded and upgraded facilities, artists will have more opportunities for creative exploration and growth. A larger gallery and dedicated workshop spaces will provide more visibility and showcase artists’ work to a broader audience. Accommodations for resident artists will foster deeper engagement and learning, while the thoughtfully designed enhanced community spaces within the studio will encourage collaboration and networking. Access to state-of-the-art kilns and a well-equipped glaze lab will enable artists to experiment with advanced techniques and push the boundaries of their craft.
Our improved facilities will provide members, students, teaching artists, and community members with:
Expanded class and workshop offerings for all skill levels
A large gallery showcasing work of members and students, plus local and visiting artists
Dedicated spaces for collaborative projects and artist residencies
An expanded Maija Williams Scholarship that offers more scholarships for classes and memberships (our goal is two students per class and 5-10 members per month funded by the scholarship)
Classes and workshops for communities that have been previously underrepresented
Your participation matters!
We invite you to invest in creating transformative benefits for both our immediate and broader communities.
