COVID-19 Health & Safety
At The Potters’ Studio, we’re committed to the safety and health of our staff, community and neighbors. We continue to monitor the situation of COVID 19 and move forward with cautious optimism, adjusting as necessary. Our goal is to provide a safe environment with continued access for our clay loving community.
Our current protocols:
Masking is optional at The Potters’ Studio (including the kiln yard).
All members, staff, instructors and students are required to submit proof of vaccination and a booster to continue using our facility. Walk-in visitors are not required to show proof of vaccination booster due to the short duration they are in the building.
The Potters’ Studio will provide reasonable accommodations to our COVID-19 policy based on either a 1) medical condition; and 2) sincerely-held or religious belief.
If you are not vaccinated, you must provide proof of a negative COVID test taken 72 hours before entry to the studio.
Everyone who enters the building is required to sign in and out (for potential contact tracing).
If you are not feeling well, do not come to the studio. Please continue to monitor your health for COVID 19 symptoms.
If you test positive soon after being in the studio, please call or email to let us know so we can inform others.
The roll-up doors will remain open from 10AM through 6PM. During evening classes and when there are more than 10 people present, the roll-up door will be open.
Please be responsible and maintain social distancing and wash your hands thoroughly.
If you have been exposed to someone with (or have had) COVID 19, we ask that you isolate for 5 days. After that, if you are asymptomatic or your symptoms are resolving (without fever for 24 hours), you can return to the studio. Wear a well-fitting mask around others for a total of 10 days, especially in indoor settings.
Thanks for your understanding and patience. Your participation helps to keep The Potters’ Studio doors open.
