with Candice Methe

Demo and Artist Talk

Artists and educators Western North Carolina have long had a profound influence on ceramics institutions, students, and artists around the country, including The Potters’ Studio community.

Yet over the course of just hours in September, the creative community in Asheville and surrounds was decimated by Hurricane Helene — the violent storm submerged hundreds of homes, studios, and galleries and destroyed livelihoods built over decades. Many potters lost everything. Rebuilding what they lost will take months, if not years.

Join us in supporting those affected rebuild their homes and businesses.
