Plants offer rich inspiration for ceramicists exploring both form and surface design, and UC Berkeley’s Botanic Gardens’ extraordinary gardens and research collections are a wonderful resource right here in Berkeley.
Join a private tour of select areas of the collection including plants, flowers, and seed pods with PS Member and UCBG Assistant Curator Sophia Warsh. Sophia will share samples from her own collection and will take you on a tour to explore some of the Garden’s different — and fascinating! — plant types and ecosystems.
Bring a sketchbook, anything you like to draw with, and your questions.
