Covid-19 Guidelines for The Potters’ Studio

  1. Do not come to the studio if you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, or otherwise do not feel well or have been exposed to a known case of Covid-19 in the last 14 days. (Symptoms: Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell). Only return to the studio after reading and carrying out CDC guidelines. Please inform the studio if you become sick.

  2. Only members and students that have signed up for work-station appointments are allowed to work in the studio.

  3. As you enter the studio (parking lot door), everyone must use hand sanitizer, read the poster listing Covid-19 symptoms and sign in on a list (assuring that you are not experiencing symptoms) and note arrival time (for tracing purposes).

  4. Masks covering the mouth and nose are a requirement for entry and MUST be worn at all times while in the studio (cloth masks OK, no valve masks).

  5. Studio members, students and staff will maintain 6 feet of physical distance at all times. Please be considerate in tight areas (hallways, glaze area, stairs) and take turns.

  6. Disinfect and clean wheels, publicly used tools and commonly touched surfaces (before use if you wish), and as part of mandatory clean-up routine before leaving. Do not assume that anything you touch is sterile – you are responsible. We will provide an H2O2-spray disinfectant for cleaning hard surfaces at each workstation. Be aware that H2O2 may bleach fabric, but only takes ~1 minute to disinfect, then dissolves into water.)

  7. Only one restroom (closest to the main studio) is designated for customer use. Please follow the Restroom Guidelines posted on the restroom door and inside the restroom.

  8. No eating or drinking in the studio. Please eat and drink outside. The kitchen is now a STAFF ONLY office space. There is no food storage inside the kitchen.

  9. Staff will monitor people inside the studio to ensure that they follow the studio’s Covid-Guidlines. Members should report unsafe activities to Staff. Staff has the authority to ask members to maintain Covid-Guidelines inside the studio. Use of the studio will be incumbent on following the direction of Staff.

  10. You will be asked to sign a waiver form before entering the studio for the first time.
