For over 50 years, we’ve provided a home for clay enthusiasts and artists of all ages, uniting the community to share and deepen their passion and knowledge of ceramics. What started as a modest effort to offer pottery classes to a small group of teenagers and adults has blossomed into a thriving community hub that ignites creativity, fosters collaboration, and inspires lifelong learning. 

In February 2024, we purchased a facility in the heart of Berkeley’s Gilman District. In June 2025, we’ll open the doors of our new home to our members, students, and the neighboring community. Your investment in this exciting effort matters. To retrofit and rebuild our new home and secure the future of our ceramics community, we have launched a $5 million Capital Campaign.
